TNPSC group 4 registration closes today; exam on June 9

NEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is going to close the registration window for the group 4 combined civil services examination, today, February 28. Eligible candidates can submit the TNPSC group 4 application form by visiting the official website at tnpsc.gov.in or tnpscexams.in.

The TNPSC recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 6,244 vacancies including, village administrative office, junior assistant, stenographer, junior executive, forest guard, etc. The TNPSC group 4 combined civil services exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 9, 2024.

The TNPSC will open the application form correction window for three days from March 4 to 6. Candidates from all categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 to register for the TNPSC group 4 exam. Regarding the age criteria, candidates age should be at least 18 years old and not exceed 32 years as of July 1, 2024, for all available positions.

TNPSC Group 4 Recruitment 2024: Exam pattern

The TNPSC exam will have a single paper with questions based on the Class 10 standard. This paper is further divided into two parts, carrying 200 questions in total. Each part carries 150 marks and candidates are allotted a three-hour duration for completing the examination. Candidates can check the table given below to learn about the TNPSC group 4 exam pattern.

As per the official notice, part B of the answer sheets will be evaluated only if the candidate secures minimum qualifying marks of 40%. The total marks obtained in both part A and part B will be considered for ranking. The questions in the part A exam will be asked in Tamil only while questions in part B will be asked both in Tamil and English.
