TNTET Application Form 2019 to be Released on March 15, Know How to Apply

NEW DELHI, MARCH 11: Teachers Recruitment Board, Tamil Nadu, is scheduled to release the application form of TNTET (Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility TEST) on March 15, 2019. The application form will be available in online mode for all the eligible candidates. Candidates will be able to fill the application form till April 5.
In order to fill the application form, candidates must visit the official website of the exam authority - http://trb.tn.nic.in/. and click on the application form link.
Before filling TNTET application form 2019 , candidates must have a valid email ID, active mobile number, scanned copy of signature and photograph of the prescribed specifications and bank details. Candidates must fill the application form in three steps - registration, filling of details, and payment of application fees. It is important for the candidates to fill all the details in the application form correctly as no modification/correction will be allowed by the exam authority after the final submission.
Along with filling the application fee, candidates will also have pay the prescribed application fee as per their category. Candidates belonging to the general category must pay Rs 500 while the reserved category candidate must pay an Rs 250. The application fee must be paid in online mode.
After the filling of application form and payment of application fees, candidates must take a print out of the fees receipt and application form for future references. Candidates who fill the application form successfully will be issued TNTET admit card containing the details of the candidates and examination.
TNTET exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as Teachers from classes 1 to 8 in Tamil Nadu State only. The exam is conducted for two papers - paper I and II wherein paper I is for those who wish to become teachers in classes 1 to 5 while paper II is for those who wish to become teachers in classes 6 to 8. Each paper is conducted for a total of 150 marks for which candidates are given 3 hours.
