Tripura to resume academic Classes from June 15

NEW DELHI: Tripura is mulling to restart schools in the state from June 1, 2020, and resume academic activities from June 15 in all schools, as per The Indian Express report.

Currently, 5 lakh students study in more than 4,700 schools functioning in the state. Before starting academic activities, concerned authorities will have to ensure proper sanitization of schools. Results of all Classes will be announced before the starting of academic study.

As per the report of The Indian Express, 2,553 schools have proper arrangements for safe drinking water supply. 250-litre water tankers would be delivered to the schools where drinking water supply is no available.

Based on the number of students in the school, Rs. 1500 to 5000 per school will be given to each school by the state education department to purchase soaps, hand sanitisers and other things as required
