NEW DELHI: State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad has revised the Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) 2024 exam date due to Lok Sabha elections. The Lok Sabha elections in Telangana will be held on May 13. As per the revised dates, TS POLYCET 2024 exam will now be held on May 24. Earlier, POLYCET 2024 was scheduled for May 17.

The TS POLYCET 2024 registration is underway. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the TS POLYCET 2024 application form by visiting the official website, polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in. The last date to submit the TS POLYCET 2024 application form without late fee is April 22.

TS POLYCET 2024: Eligibility

Candidates can have a look at the TS POLYCET 2024 eligibility criteria below.

Criterion	Requirements
Nationality	Applicants must hold Indian citizenship.
Domicile	Candidates should be domiciled in Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
Qualifying exam	Candidates must have cleared the Class 10 board exam conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, scoring a minimum aggregate of 35% marks, with mathematics as one of the subjects. Additionally, candidates who have passed Class 10 from a board equivalent to SBSE, Telangana or Andhra Pradesh, must score a minimum of 35% marks each in physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
Age limit	There is no age limit for candidates applying for the examination.

TS POLYCET 2024 exam pattern

The TS POLYCET 2024 exam will be conducted in offline mode. There will be a total of 120 questions. The duration of the TS POLYCET 2024 exam is 2 hours 30 minutes. The paper will comprise of 3 sections - physics, chemistry and mathematics. The paper carries a total of 120 marks , and will include multiple-choice questions only. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
