NEW DELHI: The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad has extended the registration deadline for the Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) 2024. Eligible candidates will now be able to fill out the Telangana POLYCET 2024 application form by April 28 without paying any late fee.

Earlier, the last date to submit the TS POLYCET 2024 application form without a late fee was April 22. The board has also extended the last date to register for the TS POLYCET 2024 with a late fee of Rs 100 is April 30. Additionally, candidates have the option to complete their application and fee payment, with a Tatkal fee of Rs 300, until May 20.

The TS POLYCET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on May 24. Earlier the TS POLYCET 2024 exam date was May 17 which was extended due to the Lok Sabha elections.

Candidates from general, other backward class (OBC), economically weaker section (EWS) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500 to register for TS POLYCET 2024. Candidates belonging to scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) categories are required to pay Rs 250 to register for TS POLYCET 2024. Candidates should make payment by April 28 through the official website, polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in.

TS POLYCET 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates should check the eligibility criteria for TS POLYCET 2024 given below.

  • Candidates applying for the TS POLYCET 2024 exam must be domiciled in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
  • There are no age restrictions for candidates applying for the examination.
  • Candidates from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), or other examinations recognised as equivalent to Secondary School Certificate (SSC) by Telangana state should have passed all subjects, including mathematics, biology, physics, and chemistry, with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
