UCEED 2024 counselling round1 seat acceptance window closes tomorrow at uceed.iitb.ac.in/2024

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) will close the seat acceptance and payment window for UCEED counselling round 1 on the official website, uceed.iitb.ac.in/2024, tomorrow. The institute is conducting the counselling process for admission into Bachelor of Design in IITs in Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad and Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur on the basis of Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED 2024).

Students allotted seats in the UCEED 2024 counselling process can choose ‘freeze’ or ‘float’ options. Those choosing the ‘freeze’ option will not be able to enter in the subsequent rounds while candidates opting for the ‘float’ option can apply for better seats in the following rounds. The window for withdrawal of seats or exit from the allocation process will be open from April 19 to 30.

Students accepting the allotted seat will have to pay Rs 60,00 as acceptance fee. However, candidates from SC, ST and PwD candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 15,000. Those who will apply for exit or withdrawal options will get a refund of Rs 55,000. Students from SC, ST and PwD categories will get a refund of Rs 10,000.

IIT Bombay said a provisional seat allotment letter will be available to download for those who have been allotted a seat, after the payment of the seat acceptance fee, in the candidate's login.
