UCG NET Application Form 2019 Released; Apply till March 30

NEW DELHI, MARCH 1: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the application form of UGC NET 2019 on March 1. Eligible candidates can fill the application form till March 30, 2019 in online mode. Only those candidates can fill the application form who hold master degree with at least 55% marks (50% in case of reserved category).

To fill the application form, candidates must visit the official website of the examination authority - https://www.nta.ac.in/ and click on the application link. The link redirects the candidates to the application form wherein candidates must fill all the required details correctly.

Before filling UGC NET application form 2019, candidates must have a valid email ID and active mobile number so that the system generated login ID and passwords can be sent to the candidates. Apart from this, candidates must also have scanned copy of their image and signature of the prescribed specifications at the time of filling the application form.

Candidates must fill all the details with utmost care as no modification or correction in the application form is allowed once the final submission is done.

Along with filling the application form, candidates must also pay the prescribed application fee of Rs 800 (for general), Rs 400 (OBC - Non creamy layer), and Rs 200 (SC/ST/PWD/Transgender) in both online and offline mode. Candidates can pay the application fees either via SBI_MOPS (Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking, e-challan) or by downloading the e-challan through application form and submit the challan with the fee at the nearest State Bank of India Branch.

All those candidates who pay the application form along with the prescribed application fee within the allotted time frame will be issue the admit card of UGC NET 2019.

UGC NET 2019 exam, is scheduled to be conducted on June 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28, 2019. The exam will be held for two papers - paper I and II. Both the the exam will be objective and will be conducted in online mode. Paper I will be common for all the candidates while paper II will contain questions from the subject opted by them.

UGC NET exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as Assistant Professors and for awarding Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
