NEW DELHI: With Class 12 board exams getting over, students must be looking forward to higher education and deciding on what courses and colleges to step into. While many students opt for engineering and medical lines as their careers, architecture is a good option for those interested in construction field.
Two entrance exams conducted for admission to architecture programmes are Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the JEE Main 2023 session 2 paper 2 for BArch on April 11. Results will be announced soon. After announcement of results, students will be able to apply for architecture programmes through counselling. Whereas, NATA 2023 will be conducted on May 28 and July 9.

While the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) offer admission to architecture programmes through JEE Advanced, the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) offer admission to BArch courses through JEE Main exam.
Students must have studied physics, mathematics, and chemistry in Class 12 in order to be eligible to apply for admission to BArch programmes.
