UGC and CBSE to coordinate on CBSE compartment result 2020 date

NEW DELHI: Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' has asked UGC and CBSE chairpersons to coordinate a meeting regarding the CBSE compartment result 2020 dates.

The move has been taken after the Supreme Court of India has directed CBSE to declare the CBSE compartment exam results at the earliest. Earlier Supreme Court of India has directed University Grant Commission (UGC) to not release the academic calendar till September 24. The SC had asked both UGC and CBSE to inform regarding the same on September 24.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) compartment exams of Class 10 and 12 have been commenced from today, September 22, 2020. The Class 10 exams will be held until September 28, whereas Class 12 compartment exams will go on till September 29, 2020. Approximately 2 lakh students are appearing in the CBSE compartment exams this year.
