NEW DELHI: Due to COVID-19 pandemic,the revised date after the extension of the last date to apply online for UGC NET and CSIR NET by National Testing Agency is today that is June 30, 2020. NTA released the application form on March 16, 2020 and later extended the last date thrice. Candidates can visit the official website to fill the application form of NTA UGC NET 2020 and CSIR NET 2020 in order to avoid last minute hassle and also check the eligibility criteria for respective exams. However, the exam date of UGC NET and CSIR NET is yet to be announced by the authority.

UGC NET and CSIR NET: Steps to fill the Application form
Candidates are advised to read all the important information before starting the registration process and should be more careful while filling the application form. Mentioned below the important steps to fill the application form of UGC NET 2020 and CSIR NET 2020:
Visit NTA website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in and csirnet.nta.nic.in
Click the link to apply online
Enter email id and mobile phone number to complete the registration.
Candidates will get a registration number and password on their email id.
Fill the application form online after login in with the registration number.
Upload scanned copy of photograph and signature in the specification prescribed
Pay the application fee in online mode
Submit the application of CSIR NET 2020 or UGC NET 2020
Candidates must keep the print out of application form and payment receipt for future reference
Important things to keep ready before filling CSIR NET 2020 or UGC NET 2020 Application Form:
Scanned copy of photograph (10 kb - 200 kb) and signature (4 kb - 30 kb)
Class 10th and 12th mark sheets, graduation certificate and other academic certificates
Caste certificate (if candidate belongs to reserved category)
PWD certificate (if applicable)
Candidates have to submit the attestation form, attested by the HoD from the university if their results are in waiting list

UGC NET and CSIR NET is the national level examination conducted by National Testing Agency to check the eligibility for Assistant Professor/Lecturer and Junior Research Fellowship. Candidates who secured an aggregate of 55% in their post graduation can apply in this examination.The authority set no upper age limit for the Assistant Professors. However, the age limit for JRF in UGC NET and CSIR NET is 30 years and 28 years respectively.
UGC NET provides 101 subjects choices for the aspirants of different streams. However, candidates with a masters degree from science stream can apply for CSIR NET.
