UGC NET 2019 and CSIR UGC NET 2019 Application Dates Extended by NTA

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 10: National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the application dates of UGC NET and CSIR UGC NET December sessions. The last date to apply for both the examinations is now October 15, 2019. Candidates will be able to make fee transactions till October 16. However, the notice released on October 9, 2019 mentions that the dates to make corrections in the online application forms remain the same i.e. from October 18 to 25. Earlier, the last date to fill the application form was October 9.

NTA opened the window to fill the application form for both the examinations on September 9, 2019. UGC NET 2019 is scheduled to be conducted from December 2 to 6 while CSIR UGC NET will be conducted on December 15, 2019.
Candidates must have a few particulars ready before filling the application form, that are - scanned images of passport size photograph and signature, caste certificate (if required), marksheets of class 10 and 12, graduation certificate/degree, an attestation form signed by the HoD from college/university (in case result is awaited) and bank details/ UPI/ e-wallets.

CSIR UGC NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates as Lecturers and for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in the faculty of Science and UGC NET for determining the eligibility of candidates as Assistant Professors in various faculties and also for awarding JRF.
