UGC NET 2020 Admit Card Releasing Soon @ugcnet.nta.nic.in, Check COVID-19 Guidelines

NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency will release the UGC NET 2020 admit card anytime soon on the official website. Candidates appearing for UGC NET 2020 June session can download the UGC NET admit card 2020 after logging in with necessary credentials such as application number and password along with captcha code. As per the exam dates released by NTA, UGC NET exam 2020 will be conducted from September 16-18, 2020 and September 21- 28, 2020.

The UGC NET 2020 exam is supposed to be conducted in June 2020 and was postponed due to the noble coronavirus pandemic. Candidates appearing in September 2020 need to follow government as well as NTA guidelines regarding COVID-19.

UGC NET 2020: New Guidelines Need To Be Followed

NTA released the set of guidelines to lower the risk of COVID-19 which are mandatory to be followed by the candidates appearing in the UGC NET 2020 exam.

Essentials For Exam Day

Candidates should carry a few essentials at the exam center on the UGC NET 2020 exam day. If not, students are not allowed in the examination center. Check below the list of essentials:

  • UGC NET 2020 Admit Card

  • Photo Identity Proof (Both the Original and Photocopy)

  • Mask

  • Personal Hand Sanitizer (50 ml bottle)

  • A ballpoint pen

  • Transparent Water Bottle

Preventive Measures at UGC NET Exam Centre

The UGC NET exam centre authority needs to make sure proper preventive measures must be followed at the examination centre.

Sanitization
The examination centre should be properly sanitized and all the sitting arrangements should be done under the social distancing protocol.

Social Distancing
The exam centre authority needs to make sure that social distancing should be followed as per the government norms at the entry gate, in the examination hall, and after the commencement of the examination.

Temperature Check
Each candidate need to go through the thermo gun for their temperature check. If the temperature measured is more than normal body temperature, that candidate will not be allowed in the examination centre.

Availability of Mask
Candidates need to dispose of their masks at the entry gate and need to wear the new mask provided by the exam centre authority. Candidates must wear the mask all the time around the exam centre

Emergency
In case of emergency regarding the health issue, candidates must inform the invigilator or anyone of the UGC NET exam centre authority as soon as possible.

The National Eligibility Test is conducted twice a year by the National Testing Agency. NTA conducts this test for the Assistant Professor/Lecturers and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) eligibility. The exam is conducted for two papers. Candidates have to choose subjects for Paper II out of 101 subject choice. This year's UGC NET exam 2020 is postponed for the June session due to COVID-19 and scheduled to be conducted in September 2020.
