NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 5: National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the UGC NET application form 2019 on March 1, while the deadline for the registrations is March 30, 2019. Apart from this, UGC NET 2019 for June session will be conducted in online mode on June 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28. The exam conducting authority, NTA has announced all major dates related to UGC NET 2019 for June session and its related events via a notice.
According to the official notice by NTA officials, registered candidates can download their admit card for June session from May 15 onwards. They can download the admit card till the day of their exam.
Besides, the dates for registration, admit card and examination, the date for the result declaration has also been announced. As per the official announcement, the result for the June exam is slated to be out by July 15. However, the announcement signifies that the result can also be announced before July 15, which is not the fixed date for the result to be out.
It must be noted that only the dates for the examination have been declared, the detailed notification is yet to be released, which may be released anytime soon.
Earlier, for the year 2019, UGC has released revised syllabus for UGC NET. So, candidates are advised to follow the new syllabus, as the papers will be set as per the revised syllabus. The official notification of NTA reads, “The UGC-NET, June 2019 will be based on the new Syllabi.”
The notification further reflects that the test will consist of two papers wherein both the papers will be conducted in a single three hour duration.
NTA conducts UGC NET twice a year for ‘Assistant Professor’ and for ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor both’ in computer based mode.
