NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 9: NTA will close the UGC NET 2019 application today. Aspirants who have not yet filled the application form must fill it before 11:59 pm. However, the application fee can be paid till October 10, 2019. In case of any error, candidates will be able to make changes from October 18 to 25, 2019. To fill UGC NET December application form, candidates must visit the official website of the exam conducting authority and click on the application link. An application fee of Rs. 400 for OBC NCL and Rs. 200 and Rs. 100 for the reserved category has to be paid along with the filling of UGC NET application. Candidates successfully filling the application form will be issued the admit card by November 9, 2019. UGC NET 2019 exam for the December session is slated to be conducted from December 2 to 6, 2019. The exam will be conducted in online mode for two papers - paper I and II. Paper I will be general paper whereas paper II will contain questions from the subjects opted by the candidate. UGC NET exam is conducted for a total of 300 marks wherein paper I will be conducted for 100 marks while paper II will be held for 200 marks.
UGC NET exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) to determine the eligibility of candidates to be appointed as Assistant Professors and to be awarded Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The test is conducted twice a year - June and December.
