UGC NET Application Window To Close Today; Hurry Up

NEW DELHI, MARCH 30: The application window of UGC NET 2019 will close today. Aspiring candidates who have not yet filled the application form of UGC NET for the June session exam must fill it before 11:59 pm today. However, the application fee can be paid till April 1, 2019. The application window opened on March 1 in online mode for all those who wished to appear for UGC NET 2019 exam.

To fill the application form, candidates must visit the official website of the exam conducting authority - and click on the application link.

Along with filling UGC NET application form 2019, candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 800 for the general candidates, Rs. 400 for OBC NCL and Rs. 200 and Rs. 100 for the reserved category candidates in online mode.

All those candidates who successfully fill the application form along with the application fee within the allotted time will be issued the admit card ten days prior to the day of examination. Candidates must download the admit card and bring it to the exam centres on the day of examination.

UGC NET 2019 exam is scheduled to be held on June 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28, 2019. The exam will be conducted in online mode for two papers - paper I and II. Paper I will be general paper whereas paper II will contain questions from the subjects opted by the candidate. The test will be conducted for a total of 300 marks wherein paper I will be conducted for 100 while paper II will be held for 200 marks.

UGC NET exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) to determine the eligibility of candidates as Assistant Professors and to award Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The test is conducted twice a year - June and December.
