UGC NET Exam 2021 - NTA announces new dates for December 2020 and June 21 sessions

NEW DELHI - The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notice in which it has announced the new dates for the UGC NET 2021 exam. According to the revised schedule of the NTA UGC NET 2021 entrance exam will be held on November 20,21,22,24,25,26,29,30 and on December 01,03,04,05.

Earlier the NTA NET 2021 exam was supposed to be conducted in October. However, the UGC NET exam dates were postponed as it was clashing with other major competitive exams. Every year approximately 10 lakh students register for the UGC NET exam.

The exact date for each of the papers of UGC NET 2021 exam will be announced soon.

UGC NET Admit Card 2021 Release Date

The National Testing Agency is expected to release the UGC NET admit card 2021 on its official website by first week of November. The NTA UGC NET admit card will mention the UGC NET exam date 2021 subject wise. Also other details that will be mentioned on the admit card are the name of the candidate, roll number, exact address of the UGC NET 2021 test centre.

All the candidates who would appear for the exam, must ensure that on the UGC NET exam date, they follow the standard operating procedure related to COVID 19 such as wearing of masks, maintenance of social distancing and sanitization of hands.

Delay in holding the UGC NET 2021 exam

This year the UGC NET 2021 exam was supposed to be held for the first time in May and was postponed due to the second wave of COVID 19 pandemic. Latter in October the UGC NET 2021 exam was postponed twice as it was clashing with other major competitive exams. MMany students had taken to twitter and had demanded from the education minister to announce the UGC NET 2021 exam date.
