NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 31: National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced UGC NET result 2019 on December 31 in online mode on its official website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can check their respective results by using their application/roll number and date of birth. As per the result, out of 793813 candidates who took the test, a total of 65239 candidates have qualified wherein 60147 candidates have qualified for Assistant Professors while 5092 have been shortlisted for both Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

Along with the announcement of the result, the authorities have also released the category wise UGC NET cut off for each subject. The cut off of UGC NET 2019 has been released in PDF. Candidates securing marks equal to or more than the minimum cut off scores have only qualified in the test.

What after UGC NET result?
All the qualified candidates will be issued an e-certificate mentioning the candidates to have qualified the said eligibility test. The e-certificate will be available on the authority’s website which can be downloaded by using application/roll number, date of birth as mentioned on the application form and exam session.
UGC NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates as Assistant Professors and to award Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). UGC NET 2019 (December session) was held from December 2 to 6 in online mode across the country. A total of 10,34,872 candidates wherein 463245 male, 571590 females and 37 transgender candidates had registered to appear in the test . The test was held for two papers - paper I and II wherein paper I was common while paper II was on the subject opted by the candidate among 81 different subjects.
