NEW DELHI: The University of Bath has started the application process for MSc in Environmental Engineering. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this programme through Fateh Education. The admission process is rolling, and the coursework is of 12 months duration.
MSc Environmental Engineering specialises in the study of environmental and sustainable processes along with the development of technical, professional and digital skills. Engineers and scientists interested in studying different aspects of environmental engineering are eligible to apply.
The programme will focus on topics such as climate change, greenhouse gas emissions, biodiversity loss etc. Selected students will be able to develop skills, knowledge and understanding of the intersection of economic factors and environmental compliance.
Other features of the programmes include the study of national and international legislation to develop a comprehensive curriculum on environmental engineering. On completion, the students will have expertise in skills such as interdisciplinary teamwork, effective communication, networking and time management along with theoretical knowledge of environmental engineering so that students can adapt to this evolving field of study.
A bachelor’s degree with first-class results. The candidate will need to upload a transcript along with the university’s grading scale
Bachelors degree should be in chemical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biochemical engineering, environmental engineering, environmental sciences, or natural sciences (e.g. physics, chemistry, or biochemistry), or related engineering and science disciplines.
IELTS score of 6.5 overall and no less than 6.0 in each section.
Talking about the course, the CEO of Fateh Education Suneet Singh Kochar said: “This course will make sure to cover areas such as improving resource efficiency; and how to monitor, manage and mitigate negative environmental consequences. A student will learn how to apply whole-systems and life-cycle approaches to evaluate the impact of industrial activities while considering current and possible future legislation.
