UP 69000 Assistant Teacher Recruitment; Document verification to end by April 26

NEW DELHI: The recruitment of 69000 Assistant Teachers in the Council Primary School in Uttar Pradesh seems to cross the final hurdle now. As per a report published by Zee News, selected teachers have been asked to get their documents verified by April 26, 2021. As The chief of Basic Shiksha Parishad, Pratap Singh Baghel clarified through a letter that the BSAs will be responsible for any errors or delay in the document verification of the selected candidates.

The Universities and Organisations will pay the required fees for verification at the district level. As per the Chief, "We have received information that no action has been taken on district level in relation to the document verification, due to which the salary of the selected candidates is not being released. However, the result of the selected candidates is already mentioned on the UP Board and other related websites upbasiceduparishad.gov.in."

Earlier the Supreme Court dismissed pleas of the Uttar Pradesh Shiksha Mitra Association and allowed the UP Government to proceed with the filling of 69000 vacancies of Assistant Teachers under the UP 69000 Sahayak Shikshak Bharti 2019 scheme.

The apex court said that the recruitment had to be done as per the result declared by the UP Basic Education Board in May 2020.
