Download NowNEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the answer sheets evaluation dates for the Class 10, 12 board exams. The board exam’s answer sheets evaluation process will begin from March 16 to 31. A total of 260 evaluation centres have been set up by the boards.
As per the press note, shared by board secretary Dibyakant Shukla on his official X account, a total of 1,47,097 examiners are appointed to evaluate 30.1 crore answer sheets of Class 10, 12 UP board exams .
Out of 1,47,097 examiners, a total of 94, 802 examiners are appointed to evaluate 1.76 crore answer sheets for the high school exam and 52,295 examiners are appointed to evaluate 1.25 crore answer sheets for the intermediate examination.
The answer sheet evaluation process will be completed in 13 working days. The evaluation work will be postponed from March 24 to 26 due to the Holika festival.
As per the data shared in the press note, a total of 55,25,308 students registered for Class 10, 12 UP Board exams in the 2024 academic year. Out of these, a total of 29,47,311 students registered for the UP Board Class 12 examination and 25,77,997 students registered for the Class 10 examination.
Total evaluation exam centres
The boards have set up a total of 260 evaluation centres, comprising 83 government schools and 177 non-government-aided secondary schools.
To evaluate the UP board Class 12 exam answer sheets, 131 evaluation centres have been set up. To evaluate the Class 10 UP board exam answer sheet, 116 evaluation centres are decided. Along with that, 13 other evaluation centres as also been decided, where both Class 10 and Class 12 board exam answer sheets will be evaluated.
As per the schedule, the UP board exam began on February 22. The exam is conducted in two shifts, the first shift is from 8:30 am to 11:45 am, second shift is from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The UP Board Class 10, 12 exams for 2024 are scheduled to conclude on March 9.
