NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (UP NMMS) scheme registration 2023 last date extended by 10 days. The application window for UP NMMS scholarship was scheduled to be closed today, however, has been extended till September 28. Eligible students will be able to apply at the official website, entdata.co.in.

As per the schedule, the NMMS scholarship exam will be conducted on November 5. Those students who have passed Class 7 exam in the academic year 2022-23 with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks will be eligible. SC, ST students will get a relaxation of 5% in the minimum passing marks criteria.
Selected candidates will get a scholarship of Rs 12,000 per annum during Class 9 to 12. However, only students who are studying in Class 8 in a government, govt-aided, local body council school will be eligible. Students’ family income should not exceed Rs 3, 50,000.
Those students studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Sainik School, government residential and private schools are not eligible to appear in this exam.
Students should upload the income certificate issued by the government, Class 7 mark sheet, and caste certificate for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students. There is no application fee for UP NMMS scholarship exam.

Students can follow the steps given below to fill the Uttar Pradesh application form 2023
- Visit the UP NMMS official website, entdata.co.in.
- Click on the NMMS application form link on the homepage.
- Select the registration link and click on proceed to fill the application form.
- Now upload income, caste certificate, photo and signature.
- Take final print out for future reference.
