UPCET 2021 postponed; Application last date extended till May 31

NEW DELHI - The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the postponement of the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) 2021 due to a rise in the number of COVID-19 cases across the state. Along with the postponement of UPCET 2021, the NTA has also extended the last date to submit the online UPCET application form till May 31. Earlier, the last date to submit the UPCET 2021 form was May 10. UPCET (UPSEE) MBA correction window will now be available from June 2 to 8, 2021.

As per the official notice released by NTA, “With a view to remove hardship caused to candidates and to ensure larger participation of candidates, it has been decided to postpone the UPCET- 2021 exam scheduled on 15 June 2021 and also extend the last date for submission of online application forms for the exam.”

UPCET 2021- Eligibility criteria

• Candidates should have completed their bachelor’s degree from any recognized university.

• Candidates should have secured 50% marks in qualifying exam (45% marks in case candidates belongs to reserved category).

• There is no age bar to appear for UPCET (UPSEE) 2021

Steps to fill UPCET Application Form 2021

Candidates can refer to the following steps in order to submit UPCET 2021 application form successfully.

Step 1 - Visit the official website of UPCET NTA- upcet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2 - Now click on “UPCET for PG 2021- Fill Registration Form”.

Step 3- Prior to filling the UPCET 2021 application form, one needs to register first by entering name, mobile number, email ID and date of birth.

Step 4- Now re-login by entering generated UPCET login details and fill in academic and personal details.

Step 5- Upload all the requisite documents in the prescribed format.

Step 6- Pay UPCET 2021 application fee

• For General/ OBC category- Rs 1,300

• For SC/ ST/ PwD/ Female candidates- Rs 650

Step 7- Submit the UPCET 2021 application form and take a printout of it for future use.

UPCET 2021 covers admission to various courses offered by MMMUT, AKTU and HBTU as well as other universities for the academic batch of 2021-22. NTA will conduct UPCET 2021 in computer-based (CBT) mode.
