UPPCS 2018 Revised Dates for Mains Exam Released; Know Details Here

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 6: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the latest notification for the dates, timings and centres of the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (Mains) 2018 Exams. The exams will be conducted in two shifts from 09:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 02:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Prayagraj and Lucknow centres.

The questions will be conventional type carrying a total of 1400 marks. Around 2800 (approx.) candidates, 3 times the vacancies will be selected from the mains exam to appear for the final interview round. Final Marks of candidates will be calculated out of 1550 (1400 Mains and 150 Interview.) Candidates can check the official notification of UPPCS exam on uppsc.up.nic.in .
Earlier, UPPCS Mains exam was scheduled to be held on June 17, 18, 19 and 21, 2019 which was later on postponed. UPPCS Preliminary 2018 was held on October 28, 2018. The results and score-card were announced on March 30, 2019, and May 7, 2019, respectively. Candidates as many as 23397 qualified in the prelims and were selected for the mains examinations. The preliminary exams comprised of 2 papers - General Studies Paper I and II, each paper carries 200 marks with 0.33 negative marking on giving the wrong answer. Through this exam, the authority is to recruit candidates for 924 vacancies.
