UPPSC PCS 2021 to be held as per schedule; Preparation begins amid COVID-19

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is scheduled to conduct the UPPSC PCS 2021 Prelims exam on June 13, 2021, as per the UPPSC exam calendar 2021. The Commission has started preparations to hold the UP State Service exam as per schedule amid the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Live Hindustan report.

The Commission will conduct the UPPSC PCS 2021 Prelims exam on June 13 in two shifts - morning and afternoon. And to comply with the social distancing directives by the Government of India a gap of six feet will be maintained in the sitting arrangement between two aspirants. Also, all the other COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.

“A proposal for conducting the UPPSC PCS 2021 recruitment exam had been sent to the district magistrates of all 23 districts in Uttar Pradesh. To take account of their preparedness to hold the UPPSC PCS 2021 exam on the said date,” Live Hindustan quoted the commission secretary as saying.

As per some reports, more than 6.9 lakh applicants have registered for the UPPSC PCS selection process for a total of 538 PCS posts, including 53 posts of Sub-Divisional Magistrate.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission had released the UPPSC PCS application form 2021 on February 5. The UP PCS 2021 selection will be done on the basis of aspirants performance in the UPPSC PCS prelims, mains and interview stage. The UPPSC PCS admit card 2021 for the preliminary examination will be issued 15 to 20 days prior to the UPPSC PCS 2021 exam.
