UPPSC RO, ARO Paper Leak: Commission seeks report from nodal officers of 2,387 centres

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has sought reports from nodal officers of all 2,387 centres on UPPSC review officers and assistant review officers (UP RO/ARO) recruitment exam paper leak. Meanwhile, a large number of candidates have been protesting for cancellation of the exam held on February 11.

The UPPSC R0, ARO exam was administered in 58 districts in the state to fill a total of 411 vacancies. After the images of UPPSC RO, ARO question paper went viral on social media, candidates started demanding re-exam. Following this, an internal investigation committee was set up by the commission to look into the matter.

The investigation to examine the irregularities are being conducted in two levels. One is being done by the internal committee constituted by the commission and the other one through the Special Task Force (STF).

As per reports, the UPPSC has asked the nodal officers to furnish details of the time when the question paper arrived at the exam centres and the time of opening the bundles of exam paper.

Several candidates have also informed on X handle about the protest to be staged in front of the UPPSC on February 23 at 11 am. Protesting aspirants also continue to block roads demanding re-exam.

In other news, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has also sought representation from candidates and general public on the alleged UP Police Constable exam paper leak. It has given a window till tomorrow for candidates to submit their representation along with the evidence.
