UPSC CDS 1 final merit list 2024 out at upsc.gov.in; 590 candidates shortlisted
UPSC CDS 2024 Result: A total of 590 candidates have been selected for admission to the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the Combined Defence Services (CDS) 1 examination final merit list 2024. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check and download the UPSC CDS 1 merit list 2024 through the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
A total of 590 candidates have been selected for admission to the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai. Of these, 470 are male candidates and 120 are females who will be joining the 121st Short Service Commission Course (men) and 35th Short Service Commission Women (non technical) course commencing in April 2025.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the UPSC CDS 1 final merit list 2024 .
“The list of 121st Short Service Commission (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course also includes the names of some of the candidates who were recommended earlier on the basis of the result of the same examination for admission to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course(s)”, the official notification read.

Medical examination results not included
As per UPSC, the results of medical examination of candidates have not been taken into account in preparing the UPSC CDS 2024 merit list. The candidature of all the candidates is provisional. Verification of date of birth and educational qualification of these candidates will be done by Army Head Quarter.
Candidates can also obtain information regarding results by accessing to UPSC website http://www.upsc.gov.in. However, marks of the candidates will be available within 15 days from the date of declaration of final results on Commission’s website for 30 days.
Additionally will play a crucial role in finalising the candidates’ eligibility. Successful candidates will undergo rigorous training at OTA, Chennai, which will prepare them for their responsibilities as officers in the Indian Armed Forces.
