NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will close the registration window for the Combined Defence Services Examination (UPSC CDS) 1 exam 2025 today, December 31. Interested candidates can fill out the UPSC CDS 1 application form 2025 through the official website at upsc.gov.in.

As per the schedule, the UPSC CDS 1 application 2025 correction window will be available for candidates from January 1 to 7. Candidates who have registered for the exam will be able to edit their UPSC CDS 1 application form 2025 through the correction facility.
The UPSC UPSC CDS 1 exam 2025 is scheduled to be held on April 13, 2025, at various examination centres across the country. The UPSC CDS 1 exam 2025 aims to fill a total of 457 vacancies in the organisation.
UPSC CDS 1 2025: Selection process
1. Written Exam: The UPSC CDS 2025 written exam is divided into different papers depending on the academy candidates are applying for, namely IMA (Indian Military Academy), AFA (Air Force Academy), INA (Indian Naval Academy), and OTA (Officers' Training Academy). The written exam will be held offline in pen and paper mode.
2. SSB Interview: Candidates who qualify the written exam proceed to the second stage, which is the SSB (Service Selection Board) interview.
