UPSC EPFO 2020 to be held on May 9; Check exam scheme and guidelines
UPSC has released the EPFO 2020 exam dates and guidelines. The UPSC EPFO is scheduled for May 09, 2021.

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the exam dates of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) on April 1, 2021. As per the UPSC EPFO notification released on upsc.gov.in, the exam will be conducted on May 9, 2021 (Sunday forenoon). The UPSC EPFO exam will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM for the General Ability Test (GAT 01). Candidates who applied for the UPSC EPFO will have to report to the exam centre 1 hour before the commencement of the exam.

UPSC EPFO exam pattern

The question paper will be in objective type (multiple choices questions).

The time duration of the UPSC EPFO will be of two hours.

The medium of the test will be bilingual - Hindi and English.
-
The UPSC EPFO will consist of 300 marks.
-
There will be a penalty for wrong answers and one-third of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted.

The question paper will be based on subjects - General English, Indian Freedom Struggle, Current Events and Developmental Issues, Indian Polity and Economy, General Accounting Principles, Industrial Relations and Labour Laws, Social Security in India etc.
UPSC EPFO Exam Day Guidelines

Wearing a mask/ face cover is mandatory.

Candidates without masks will not be allowed to enter the exam venue.

Candidates must carry their own hand sanitiser (small size) in a transparent bottle.

Candidates must follow social distancing.

Carry a black ballpoint pen for marking responses on the OMR sheet.

Electronic items such as calculators, log tables, slide rules, cellular/mobile phones and such IT gadgets or any other equipment are not allowed inside the premises.

Any infringement of the above instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future TESTs.
The UPSC EPFO notification and application form was released on January 11, 2020, and the last date to apply was January 31. UPSC is conducting the EPFO recruitment exam to recruit 421 candidates for the post of Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officer in EPFO, M/o Labour and Employment.
