UPSC ESE admit card 2019 available; know steps to download

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 12 : Union Public Commission (UPSC) has released the admit card of Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2019 of preliminary exam on December 12. The admit card can be downloaded till the day of examination. UPSC ESE 2019 preliminary exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 6. To download the admit card, candidates have to visit the official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in . Only the successful registered candidates have been issued the admit card of UPSC ESE 2019.
Candidates can download UPSC ESE admit card by either logging in through registration id or roll number and date of birth. After downloading the admit card, candidates must check the details specified in the same. In case of any discrepancy in the admit card, candidates must immediately contact the examination authority, UPSC to get it corrected. The admit card has details specified like candidate’s name, exam date, name of exam centre, date of birth, exam time, address of exam centre, roll number, reporting time, city, photograph and signature etc.

According to UPSC officials, the preliminary exam of UPSC ESE 2019 will have 2 papers - I and II. Paper I comprises of General Studies and Engineering Aptitude, which will be conducted for 2 hours carrying 200 marks. In paper II, candidates will have to appear for stream specific paper (mechanical, civil, electrical etc.), which will be conducted for 3 hours. The total marks allotted to this paper are 300. Candidates who will qualify the preliminary exam will be eligible to appear for mains exam.
UPSC ESE is conducted for recruitment of Group-A and A/B Services/Posts in different categories like Indian Railway Service, Indian Railway Stores Service, Central Engineering Service, Indian Defence Service of Engineers etc. UPSC has announced as many as 581 vacancies for UPSC ESE 2019.
