UPSC ESE Notification and Application 2020 Released; Apply till Oct 15

NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 25 : Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification and application form 2020 on September 25. Candidates who wish to apply for UPSC ESE 2020 can fill the application form from September 25, 2019. The last day to fill the application form is October 15, 2019. To apply for UPSC ESE 2020, candidates must have a degree in Engineering from a University. A total of 495 vacancies have been announced for the year 2020 recruitment. UPSC ESE application form 2020 is filled in two parts - Part I & II. Check the steps to fill UPSC ESE application form 2019 below.

Steps to fill UPSC ESE application form 2019

• Go to the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in .

• Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab

• Select ‘Online Application for Various Examinations’

• Click on ‘Online application for various examination of UPSC’

• Part wise UPSC ESE application form 2019 login window appears on the screen.

• Click on Part I application and select ‘yes’.

• Enter basic details and click on ‘continue’.

• After generating registration ID and password candidates need to fill part II of application form

• To fill part II of application form candidates need to select registration ID/number and date of birth.

• Candidates need to pay fees, select the exam centre, uploading photograph and signature and check the declaration checkbox.

General and OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 200 whereas Female/SC/ST/PwBD are exempted from fee payment. The payment can be done online through Net banking

Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card whereas offline through SBI by cash. Candidates will be able to generate challan of offline payment till October 14 (11.59 pm). However, the last day of payment of application fee is October 15, 2019.

Post the submission of application, candidates must keep its printout and e-receipt after payment. UPSC will also provide the facility to withdraw the application form to the candidates who will successfully pay the application fee from October 22 to 28, 2019.

UPSC ESE preliminary exam is scheduled to be held on January 5, 2020, whereas mains exam will be conducted on June 28, 2020. The finally selected candidates are appointed to group A and B posts in Indian Railway, Indian Ordnance Factories, Indian Skill Development Service, etc.
