UPSC IES/ISS 2020 personality test postponed

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission will begin the registration process for UPSC IES ISS from April 7. Candidates will be able to fill the application form for Indian Economic Services (IES) and Indian Statistical Services (ISS) by visiting the official website of the UPSC - upsc.gov.in.
The last date to fill the application form is April 27 and the exam would be held on July 16, 2021. Before filling in the application form, candidates are required to check the eligibility criteria for the IES and ISS exam.
The eligibility criteria for UPSC IES ISS includes the academic qualifications, age limit and nationality which the candidates must meet before they proceed to fill the application form.
Those candidates who have acquired a postgraduate degree in applied economics, economics, econometrics, business economics from a recognised central or state university are eligible to appear for the exam.
Candidates between the age of 21 to 30 years can apply for the IES exam 2021. However, candidates who belong to the reserved category such as SC and ST will get an age relaxation of five years while those who are from the Other Backward Class, will get an age relaxation of three years to appear in the IES ISS exam. Meanwhile, applicants with benchmark disabilities will get age relaxation of at least ten years.
