UPSC NDA 2 2025: Maths, GAT question papers available at upsc.gov.in; marking scheme

Download EBookThe Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the question papers for the National Defence Academy (NDA) 2 exam 2025, held on September 14 across the country. Candidates can download the NDA 2 question papers for Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT) through the official website at upsc.gov.in. The question papers are in the English language.

The UPSC NDA 2 paper included questions from GAT and Maths, with a total of 900 marks. Candidates can calculate their probable scores using the NDA 2 question papers. The mathematics question paper consisted of 120 questions and the exam was conducted for a duration of two and a half hours. All the questions were in the objective type format.
Whereas, the GAT question paper consisted of 150 objective type questions, divided in part A and B.
One-third mark deduction in UPSC NDA 2 2025
As per the marking scheme, 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Moreover, if a candidate selects more than one answer in the same question, it will be marked wrong even if one of the given answers happens to be correct and a similar penalty will be applied.
Furthermore, if a question is left blank or no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

As per several media reports, the difficulty level for the NDA 2 Mathematics exam was moderate and the overall difficulty level for the GAT was moderate to difficult.
