UPSEE Counselling 2020 to start from October 19

As per the Vice-Chancellor Vinay Pathak, UPSEE 2020 counselling will commence from October 19. He also confirmed that UPSEE 2020 is the final exam for admission to B.Tech. After this, the B.Tech admissions will be done through JEE Mains. However, the rest of the entrance examinations will be done through the UPSEE exam.

UPSEE 2020 Results - Counselling Process

AKTU will conduct rounds of UPSEE counselling 2020 for admission into the undergraduate engineering courses offered by the participating institutes of the state. Candidates will be called to participate in the counselling on the basis of marks obtained by them in UPSEE result B.Tech 2020. The authorities will soon release a detailed notification regarding the schedule and process of UPSEE 2020 counselling.

UPSEE Results - Marking Scheme

UPSEE exam result 2020 will be declared using the marking scheme specified by the authorities. As per the official UPSEE marking scheme, four marks will be given for each correct answer. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

UPSEE 2020 Result - Criteria for Rank

On the basis of marks secured by the candidates in UPSEE 2020 exam, the authorities will release the UPSEE merit list on the official website. Merit position/rank , score card with total marks will be made available on the website after the declaration of the UPSEE result 2020. In case two or more candidates secure same marks, then the following criteria will be followed:

• A candidate having lesser percentage of incorrect answers in UPSEE 2020 will be placed at higher merit

• The candidate having more marks in the Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry section of Paper 1 will be allotted a higher rank

• Candidate with higher age will be placed at higher merit

• Finally, the rank will be allotted on the basis of the application number.  the lowest application number will be placed higher in the merit.

UPSEE Result 2020- Minimum Qualifying Marks

In order to qualify the UPSEE exam 2020 and be eligible for a merit list, candidates are required to obtain minimum qualifying marks specified by the authorities. Only those candidates who will meet the qualifying marks will be eligible for admission. The UPSEE cutoff 2020 percentage for the merit of successful candidates is 25% (20% for SC/ST) as per UP state government orders.
