NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 24: Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has released UTET 2018 answer key on December 22. Candidates who appeared for the examination on December 14 can check their answers in pdf format. To check UTET answer key, candidates must visit the website http://ubse.uk.gov.in/pages/display/90-departmental-exam--utet and click on the download link of the answer key. The examination authority has released the answer key for both the papers - paper I and II. UTET official answer key contains the correct responses against all the questions asked in all the four sets of the question booklet - A, B, C and D.

Through UTET answer key, candidates can check their answers to the questions marked in the entrance examination. Candidates are also given an opportunity to submit objections in case they find errors/mistakes in the official answer keys.

Candidates can challenge the answer keys in offline mode only. To challenge the official answer keys candidates have to follow the application prescribed format as given by the authority mentioning details such as the exam name, level of the exam, question booklet series, question number, and explanation for the objection in the space provided along with the documentary proofs. The grievances will have to be sent via speed post or registered post to the Board of School Education Uttarakhand, Ramnagar, District - Nainital till January 2, 2019 (5 pm). Candidates must also note that they can raise only one objection through one application. If any candidate is willing to raise objections in more than one answer key then they have to send the application separately for each one of the objections. After the complaints, the answer key will be reviewed and a final or revised answer key will be released in case the correctness of the objections is proved.

The result of UTET 2018 is expected to be declared online in January. Candidates can check their results by entering their roll number and date of birth in the login window. The minimum eligibility to be considered qualified in UTET for general category candidates is 60%, OBC/PwD/dependents of freedom fighters/ex-servicemen is 50%, and for SC/ST is 40% aggregate marks in UTET 2018 exam.

UTET 2018 was conducted by UBSE on December 14 in offline mode. The exam was conducted for 2.30 hours in which candidates were asked questions to check their command over various subjects like Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies etc. Each paper carried 150 questions of 1 mark each.
