Uttarakhand Class 10 and 12 Exams to Conduct from June 15- 20

NEW DELHI: Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE) is expected to conduct the remaining Class 10 and 12 board exams between June 15 to 20, 2020. As per the reports, the board will soon commence the answersheet evaluation process from June 1. Class 10 and 12 Board exams were postponed due to lockdown in the country.

On Tuesday, R Meenakshi Sundaram, Uttarakhand Education Secretary conducted a video conference with district officials and said that the board is planning to conduct the pending exams anytime between June 15 and 20. The decision was taken after reviewing the weather conditions in the stats as Uttarakhand expects heavy rainfall in the last week of June. This can create trouble for UBSE to conduct the board exams. Hence, the board is planning to conduct the remaining exams in the mid of June 2020. The board will conduct the exams in two shifts daily.

Sundaram further added that the board will begin the evaluation process from June 1. The inter colleges will be used as evaluation centres. Hence, the board is planning to declare the board result by July.
