Download EbookNEW DELHI: Vellore Institute of Technology has announced the final date to apply for B.Tech admissions 2020. Candidates can now submit the application form till July 31 in online mode. Those who wish to apply for the admission process can access the application form through the VITEEE login at the official website. Previously, the authorities had opened the application process till the further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
While filling out the application form, the candidates are also requested to add the details about their 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination. If the candidates have attempted JEE Main, then the related information has to be submitted too. For those candidates who had earlier filled the OMR application form, a link has been activated from where the can enter the above mentioned details for the admission process.
VIT entrance exam for undergraduate engineering admissions has been cancelled due to the pandemic and admissions will now be done on the basis of 12th standard qualifying scores in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. However, students having JEE Main score will be given weightage.
About VITEEE
VITEEE is conducted for B.Tech admissions into the campuses of the institute. However, for this session, the VIT entrance exam will not be conducted and all admissions will be done through counselling.
