VISTAS Chennai announces admission to UG and PG law programmes

The application form for VISTAS can be filled in both online and offline mode. The institute offers three-year LLB, integrated LLB and LLM programmes.
NEW DELHI : Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies (VISTAS) Chennai has announced admission to full-time LLB, Integrated LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes. The institute will offer admissions based on the Vele entrance exam and marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam. The entrance test will be followed by a personal interview and writing ability test.

Eligibility criteria
Integrated LLB - Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent as per the BCI norms.
Three-year LLB - Candidate must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized university as per the BCI norms.
LLM - Candidate must have completed three-year LLB or Integrated LLB from a recognized university as per the BCI norms.
Application process
The institute has released the application form on its official website. Candidates may fill and submit the application form in both online and offline mode. The application fees is Rs 1,000 for all candidates.
Selection process
The institute will offer admission based on merit. Candidates will be selected based on their percentage in the qualifying exam and the score obtained in the Vels entrance exam. The date of the entrance exam will be notified later. After the entrance test, a WAT (Writing Ability Test) and a Personality Interaction (PI) will also be conducted.
