NEW DELHI: The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has issued the admit card for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2023. Candidates who booked the slot on the Online Test Booking System (OTBS) can download their admit card on the official website – viteee.vit.ac.in by logging in with their credentials. The last date to apply for VITEEE 2023 is tomorrow, April 5. VITEEE 2023 will be conducted between April 17 to 23 for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in the university.

According to the VITEEE 2023 hall ticket, the VITEEE 2023 results and online counselling schedule will likely be announced on April 26, 2023 on the official website. Candidates will be informed about the result and counselling schedule via SMS too.

VITEEE 2023 important instructions

  • Candidates should follow all COVID protocols in the examination hall
  • Candidates should report to the selected test centre with e-Admit card and any one of the following documents for verification: masked Aadhar card, school or college photo ID card, any other government issued photo ID.
  • Candidates should attempt only the subject selected in the application form and mentioned in the admit card
  • Candidates are not allowed to appear in the exam more than once in the same or different subject. Duplication is not allowed. Any such attempt will lead to disqualification
  • Candidates should report to the exam centre 40 minutes before the exam
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, tables, side ruler, and pager etc.
  • Candidates should only sit on the allotted seat and sign the attendance sheet as well as e-Admit card in the front of the vigilator.
  • Candidates’ photo or fingerprint will be captured and verified at the time of counselling, admission. Any attempt for impersonation will lead to legal action.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall till the end of examination
  • Violation of instructions and adoption of unfair means in exam will result in disqualification

According to the guidelines, equi-percentile method is followed as the ranking methodology for VITEEE 2023. The authorities advised candidates not to assume and predict their course or rank based on their own estimate of raw scores.
