VITEEE 2026: Chapter wise Weightage
The VIT engineering exam dates 2025 have been announced. As per the schedule, VITEEE 2025 exam will be conducted from April 20 to 27. The VITEEE 2025 result will be declared on April 30. The VITEEE 2025 counselling process is scheduled in May. Last year, VITEEE results were announced on May 3. The VITEEE 2025 form correction facility was available till March 31. So far, there is no information regarding the extension of VITEEE 2025 form correction facility .
VITEEE 2025: Eligibility Criteria
The VITEEE 2025 eligibility criteria are as follows
- Candidates are required to be either a resident Indian, a non-resident Indian (NRI), or a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) holder.
- Candidates are required to be born on or after July 1, 2003.
- Candidates are required to have studied chemistry, physics and mathematics in Class 12.
- General category candidates are required to have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology in Class 12.
- Reserved category candidates are required to have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12.
VITEEE 2025 exam pattern
The VITEEE 2025 exam will be conducted in online mode. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. The medium of the VITEEE 2025 will be English. The exam will consist of a total of 125 questions. There will be five sections in the exam. The sections will include Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Aptitude. The total marks for the VITEEE 2025 will be 125. Candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
VITEEE 2025 counselling
Seat allocation for VITEEE 2025 will be based on the candidate’s rank and seat availability. According to the official website, candidates with a rank of up to 1 lakh can participate in counseling for all four campuses: VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP, and VIT Bhopal. Those with a rank above 1 lakh are eligible to apply only for VIT-AP and VIT Bhopal.
Provisional admission offered during counseling will be valid only if the candidate meets the eligibility criteria. VIT will re-verify eligibility after the tuition fee is paid within the specified deadline. Candidates will also be required to submit the necessary documents when reporting to the campus.
