Vivekananda Global University hosts annual fest ‘Panache 2024’; over 5000 participates

NEW DELHI: Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jaipur hosted an opening ceremony for their annual cultural festival, Panache 2024, on March 13, 2024. This four-day event will continue till March 16, 2024. As per the institute, there will be 50 events held over four days, with more than 100 teams and over 5000 participants taking part.

The member of the legislative assembly (MLA) from Hawamahal assembly constituency, Bal Mukund Acharya was the chief guest at the inaugural session. Addressing the event, Acharya described the contribution of youth as important in building a strong India and said that our glorious diverse culture, art and unity in diversity make us a world leader.

As per the official press release, the programme commenced with the ethnic walk event, where students exhibited the cultural diversity of the country and showcased their artistic skills by showcasing various traditional costumes from different states of the country. The faculty members of all the departments also took part in the ethnic walk in the costumes of different states.

Speaking about the event, Bal Mukund Acharya said that in this festival, the way students from different states displayed their colourful costumes and their art culture on one stage, a glimpse of a mini-India was visible on the campus. I am overwhelmed by this and also congratulate the university management for this.

The chairperson of VGU Lalit K Panwar and CEO of VGU, Onkar Bagaria also addressed the gathering. Panwar stressed the importance of holistic development for students, while Bagaria spoke about the festival's role in nurturing young talents and celebrating cultural richness.
