The result will be based on the internal assessment, however, the board is yet to come up with the new evaluation policy for the West Bengal HS result 2020. If any student is unsatisfied with their result, they will be provided with an option to reappear in the examination after the situation gets back to normal.

According to Partha Chatterjee, state education minister, West Bengal, “For us, the safety and well-being of students is top priority. We were making arrangements to hold the remaining exams on July 2, 6 and 8. But we are left with no option as the virus is spreading,”

Chatterjee further added, “If any candidate had reservations about the evaluation method of the remaining papers, he or she can appeal to the council for writing those papers after the COVID-19 situation improved and get the new dates for the exams,”.

The West Bengal HS exams were commenced from March 12, 2020. Some exams got postponed due to the spread of novel Coronavirus. The postponed exams were scheduled to be conducted from July 2, 6, and 8, 2020.
