The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will announce the Class 10 or Madhyamik examination 2026-27 result today, May 8, 2026 on the official website of WB at wbchse.wb.gov.in or wbresults.nic.in. Students can access their scores by using the login credentials, including registration number/ roll number, date of birth. WB Madhyamik Result 2026 Time LIVE
This year, approximately 9,71,340 students took part in the WB Madhyamik 2026 examination, which was held from February 2 to February 12, 2026 at over 2,600 centres across the state.
Students can also check their WB Madhyamik 2026 scores through DigiLocker and SMS. To clear the WB Class 10 examination, students need to obtain a minimum of 34% aggregate marks and must also pass in each subject separately. The qualifying mark for each subject is roughly 34%, and those who fall short in a few subjects may be allowed to appear for compartment exams.

Students can check their results through SMS. To use this service, open the messaging app on your phone and type “WB10 your Roll Number”, then send it to 58888. After the message is sent, the result will be received directly on the same mobile number.

Last year, the overall pass percentage was 86.56%, reflecting a slight improvement from 86.31 per cent in 2024. 66 students secured positions in the top 10 ranks. District-wise performance highlighted Purba Medinipur as the top-performing district with around 96.46 per cent pass rate.
