WBCHSE HS Result 2021 to be declared on July 22 at 3 pm; Details here

NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) on Wednesday announced the Class 12 result 2021 declaration date, reported The Indian Express. The West Bengal HS result 2021 will be released on July 22, 2021, at 3 pm. Students who have registered can check their results on the websites, wbchse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in, by entering their roll number or name to view the WBCHSE HS Result 2021 date.

This year, the West Bengal Board exams for Class 12 could not be held due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On June 18, the board had released the evaluation criteria for Class 12 students on the basis of their previous exam performance.

The marking scheme for WBCHSE HS Class 12 students will be based as per the evaluation criteria , 40% weightage would be given to the best of four subjects in Class 10 Madhyamik exam in 2019 and 60% weightage to the annual Class 11 theory exam in 2020. The Class 12 project or practical will be separate, marked out of 20 for non-lab-based subjects and out of 30 for lab-based subjects.

This year, over 8 lakh students registered for WBCHSE HS exam 2021.

Last year, the Class 12 results were announced on July 17, 2020. Around 7.5 lakh students had registered for West Bengal HS result 2020, of which a total of 30,220 students secured more than 90% marks, 84,746 obtained over 80% and 3,22,056 scored first division or more than 60% marks in the Class 12 exams in 2020.
