WBCS 2019 Answer Key Released for Mains Exam; Raise Objections Till August 21

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 19: Public Service Commission, West Bengal has released WBCS answer key 2019 for the mains exam. The answer key has been released for the test which was conducted from July 22 to 28, 2019. WBCS mains answer key has been released in the form of PDF. To download the mains answer key, candidates must visit the official website of the examination authority and click on the answer key link. The answer key PDF contains the correct answer options against the question numbers.

By going through the answer key, candidates can know how many answers they have attempted correctly and incorrectly and calculate their expected scores. Candidates can visit the official site by clicking on pscwbapplication.in.

In case of discrepancies in the answer key, candidates must raise objections till August 21, 2019. To challenge the answer key, candidates can drop an email at pscwbit01@gmail.com mentioning their issue. The examination authority will then scrutinise the provisional key and release the final answer key on the basis of which the final result will be announced.

Candidate qualifying in the mains exam will have to further appear for the interview round.

WBCS exam is conducted in three stages - prelims, mains and interview. The test is conducted to recruit the candidates to various posts under Group A, B, C and D. Candidates qualifying in prelims, appear for the mains exam while mains qualified candidates have to appear for the interview. This year, there were a total of 15997 candidates who qual;ified in the prelims exam while for the mains, the result is awaited.
