Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the counselling of WBJEE 2020 will be conducted completely in online mode. The board will be offering 34891 seats to eligible candidates in 116 participating institutes. Independent counselling will be held for WBJEE and JEE Main rank holders. For this session, WBJEE 2020 rank holders do not have to pay the counselling fee. Fresh registrations will be allowed for each round of WBJEE 2020 counselling. All of the uploaded documents will be checked by Virtual Reporting Centres.

Utsav Basu from Santragachi has secured the fourth rank in WBJEE 2020. Following Basu, Punendu Sen has bagged the fifth rank in the examination.

According to the authorities, a total of 73119 candidates appeared for the entrance examination. In the WBJEE 2020 results, 71% rank holders are from West Bengal, while 31% are from CBSE, and 3% are from ISC board.

WBJEE 2020 result has been announced by WBJEEB. Souradeep Das from Uttar Dinajpur has secured the first rank in WBJEE 2020. Subham Ghosh from Paschim Burdwan has secured the second rank and the third rank has been allotted to Sreemanti Dey from Kolkata.

WBJEEB has decided to fix a date to conduct the exams every year. WBJEE will now be held on the first Sunday of February every year. According to this, WBJEE 2021 will be conducted on February 7.

• Click on the result link

• Provide application number and password

• Click on ‘Submit’

• The result will be displayed on the screen

• Students can download and print out the result for future use

WBJEEB will be holding a press conference to declare WBJEE 2020 result. Details about the toppers and more will be announced via the press conference which will be broadcasted by various news channels. After the press conference, the result will be published online at wbjee.nic.in. Counselling schedule will also be made available.

WBJEE 2020 was held on February 2 in 23 districts across the state and four in other states. Over a lakh students appeared for the entrance examination which was held as a OMR based test. Students had to attempt two papers - Paper I (Mathematics) and Paper II (Physics and Chemistry). The provisional answer key was released at wbjee.nic.in on February 17.

The candidate login to check the WBJEE 2020 result will be available at wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. The result can also be printed for future use.

According to Chatterjee, the authorities will conduct the counseling of WBJEE 2020 in online mode. Due to COVID-19, physical counselling will not be held and all of the WBJEE counselling procedures will be completed in online mode. Dates for the counselling session will be released soon.
