NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has declared the WBJEE seat allotment for mop up round today. Candidates who registered for the WBJEE mop-up counselling round 2023 will be able to check and download the seat allotment from the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.

Candidates allotted seats in the WBJEE mop-up round will have to report to college between August 22 to 24, as per the schedule.

Those who did not complete admission in WBJEE round-1 or round-2 and were eligible for mop-up round are required to complete admission procedure at the newly allotted institute within the stipulated time schedule, the official website read.

Those who have got a fresh allotment in mop-up round, will have to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 5,000 if not paid earlier, and download the allotment letter.

After downloading the WBJEE seat allotment letter, candidates will have to report to the allotted college for document verification. Following which, the applicants must complete the admission process within the stipulated time schedule, it added.

WBJEE 2023 Counselling: Documents required

Candidates should carry the following documents to the allotted college for verification.

  • Class 10 admit card or birth certificate for date of birth verification.
  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheet.
  • OCI certificate if applicable.
  • Domicile certificate.
  • Caste certificate
  • PwD certificate.

Present allotment may be cancelled if any candidate is found not eligible for the allotted college due to their actual academic scores, category certificates etc. This year, 97,524 candidates appeared in the West Bengal JEE exam 2023 and a total of 99.4% were declared qualified.
