NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has commenced the registration process for admissions to Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) 2024 on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the WBJEEB ANM and GNM application form, by visiting the official website wbjeeb.nic.in or wbjeeb.in.

The WBJEEB will conduct an OMR-based common entrance test for ANM(R) and GNM-2024, to determine admission to two-year ANM (Revised) degree and the three-year GNM course for the academic year 2024-25.

WBJEEB ANM, GNM 2024: Important dates

Candidates can have a look at the important dates related to WBJEEB ANM and GNM 2024 below.

  • Online application with payment of fees: March 21 to April 21.
  • Online correction and downloading revised confirmation page: April 23 to April 25
  • Availability of admit card: July 5 to July 14
  • Date of Examination: July 14 (tentative and subject to change).
  • Result declaration: To be notified later.

WBJEEB ANM, GNM 2024: Eligibility

Candidates can have a look at the eligibility criteria below before filling the application form.

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India. Must be domicile of West Bengal.
  • The applicant must have passed Class 12 or must be appearing in 2024.
  • The applicant’s age must be at least 17 years as on July 31, 2007 that is the applicant
  • should have been born on or before July 31, 2007.
  • There is no upper age limit.

WBJEEB ANM, GNM exam pattern 2024

The WBJEEB ANM and GNM entrance exam will include multiple-choice questions only. The duration of the exam will be 1 hour 30 minutes. There will be a total of 100 questions divided into 5 sections- Life science, physical science, basic English, Mathematics, general knowledge, logical reasoning. The medium of the question paper will be both English and Bengali except the English and Logical reasoning section. For each incorrect answer one-fourth of the answer will be deducted.
