WBJEEB PUMDET 2024 registration begins tomorrow; exam on July 28

NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will begin the registration process for the Presidency University Master Degree Entrance Test (PUMDET) 2024 tomorrow, April 12. The PUMDET 2024 entrance test is tentatively scheduled to be held on July 28.

Candidates will be able to fill out the PUMDET 2024 application form by visiting the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. The last date to register for the PUMDET 2024 entrance exam is May 7, 2024. The PUMDET 2024 application form correction window will be open for two days on May 9 and 10, 2024.

Candidates from all categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500 to register for the PUMDET 2024 exam. The WBJEEB will issue the admit card for the PUMDET 2024 entrance exam from July 18 to 28.

As per the official notice, the PUMDET 2024 exam will be conducted for subjects such as applied economics, applied geology, Bengali, chemistry, English, geography, Hindi, history, life sciences, mathematics, philosophy, sociology, physics, political science, and statistics.

The WBJEEB conducts the PUMDET-2024 entrance test for admission to various postgraduate Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Science (MSc) courses at Presidency University for the academic session 2024-25.

The PUMDET 2024 entrance exam will have 50 questions. Each question will carry a weightage of two marks and for every incorrect answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted. Candidates will get a duration of two hours to complete the exam. The paper will consist of multiple-choice questions, and candidates will be provided with an optical machine-readable (OMR) sheet for marking their answers.
