WBMSC TET 2024: The prelim exam will be held in two shifts from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Madrasah Service Commission (WBMSC) has issued the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) admit card 2024 for the 7th State Level Selection Test (SLST). Candidates who have registered for the recruitment exam can download their WBMSC TET admit cards 2024 from the official website at wbmsc.com. The WBMSC TET 2024 exam is scheduled on January 28.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 1,729 posts of undergraduate, graduate and post graduate teachers for Classes 1 to 12 in non-government and government-aided Madrasahs in West Bengal.
WBMSC TET 2024: Selection process
The WBMSC TET recruitment 2024 selection process includes an OMR based test in the preliminary stage. Candidates who qualify the prelim will be eligible to sit for the main exam followed by an interview. Candidates will be called for interviews based on their main examination marks. The number of candidates called for interviews will be 1.5 times the number of final vacancies in that subject and category. The preliminary exam marks will not be considered for the preparation of the WBMSC TET 2024 final merit list.

WBMSC TET 2024: Exam pattern
The OMR based test will carry a total of 150 marks and will be divided into 5 sections- child development and pedagogy, language 1, language 2, Arabic, and environmental studies. Each section will carry 30 marks. The duration of the test is 2 hours 30 minutes. Candidates will have to score 60% to pass the prelim exam. The WBMSC TET 2024 main exam carries 90 marks and will include questions based on the concerned subject. The duration of the main exam is 1 hours 30 minutes.
