Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has postponed all WBPSC 2021 written exams due to a rapid increase in COVID-19 cases. The exam authority has released the WBPSC notice on the official website - wbpsc.gov.in. As per the WBPSC notice 2021, “All the written exams scheduled to be conducted between May 7, 2021, to June 30, 2021, are postponed till further notice. The new exam dates of WBPSC will be announced later.”
The Commission has taken this decision consulting the state government to prevent the possibility of further spread of COVID-19. The decision was taken considering the safety of students as the graph of COVID-19 cases has been increasing exponentially across the nation due to the second wave of coronavirus pandemic.

As per the WBPSC selection procedure, students need to appear in three phases of WBPSC recruitment exam - prelims, mains and interview round - to get shortlisted for the final allotment. It is important for students to secure minimum qualifying marks to get qualified at each stage of the WBPSC exam.
